Hello beauties,
Have you ever rolled out of bed and looked at the mirror, admiring your own gorgeous face? No? Well, then you’re missing out on a lot of fun. As women, we are bombarded with the pressure to look good everywhere we turn. From our hair and face to our clothes and style, constant perfection is expected. So, we spend our days admiring celebrities who are seemingly flawless, wondering why nature hasn’t gifted us with such good genes. Ah, but this is the wrong way to look at things. You can’t compare yourself to photoshopped images of celebrity ladies in fashion magazines. You will never look like that, and that’s because not even those celebrities look like that. They are, after all, just people. However, they are people who work hard on their looks and their health, and that’s absolutely something you can do yourself. So, if you want to know how to take care of yourself like the gorgeous queen that you are, read on.

Skincare before all
You can wear makeup all you like, but there’s never going to be a substitute for simply having good skin. Stop treating it as an afterthought and really dedicate time to good skincare. First, never go to bed without taking your makeup off. Mary J. Blige advises that you should never go a day without washing your face, and that’s pretty good general advice. Use micellar water and never rub the skin around your eyes. Gentle, swiping motions are enough. Make sure to wash your face twice a day, and use a quality moisturizer that’s suited to your skin type. If your skin is dry, you may want to incorporate a serum into your skincare routine, which will give it that extra dose of hydration. If you have problems with acne and regular treatments don’t work for you, try the popular oil treatment that a lot of people swear by.

Become a hot fitness diva
Getting fit sounds like a chore, but it’s actually something that can be amazingly fun and there’s just no way not to love the results. Working out means having more energy, being stronger and looking better. And you don’t even have to go to the gym to accomplish that. A lot of celebrities don’t set their foot in the gym. The Brazilian beauty Gisele Bündchen is known for her amazing yoga skills, so there’s no reason not to listen to one of the most famous supermodels in the world. You can also exercise in the comfort of your own home, or you can sign up for something fun like salsa classes, or kickbox. If you want to be like the sexy supermodel Elle Macpherson or famous actress Cate Blanchett ride a bike daily. These famous Aussie celebrities know how easy it is to stay fit with a bike, and since electric bikes in Australia are gaining popularity, you could follow the Australian example and get one yourself. These bikes look really cool and they come with many benefits, so it’s definitely something to consider.

Hello, beauties!
Be fashion does not mean spending a lot of money, we usually associate "being fashion" or being stylish with high costs. Formerly to have access to fashion was necessary to have money and buy in great brands, because the styles were very formatted due to each era. Today, we have the possibility of various styles, to create our own style with elements that we have at home and more. Follow these tips and look further into your closet, you already have a story there that says a lot about you and your style.

Pinterest: The site and app that helps a lot when we are getting dressed. Instead of picking up the reference and looking for a whole look to buy, think of a piece you already have and look for a look to get inspired.

Sell what you no longer use: having a huge quantity of clothing does not mean quality. What you will not use anymore, move on. You can earn from it and still replace it with something new. Put your pieces to sell in thrift stores.

Shop in your closet: constantly revisit your closet. It's normal to forget what you're good at and always use the same things. Organize the closet so that you can see everything you have, it helps a lot too.

When the subject is low-cost beauty treatment, homemade facial masks are the best! But since there is not always enough time or money for this investment, today I'm going to share four recipes to do at home that will leave your skin incredible.

Clean the skin with green tea (to detoxify), tea with flowers and fruit (sensitive skin) or mint tea (oily skin). Then use the same tea to make the mask. How to do: heat 1 cup. of a tea of your preference (to be well concentrated) + 1 sheet of gelatin. Apply on the face with upward movements (from the center of the face outward) to stretch the skin. Leave it for 15 minutes and rinse.

We love our little, sporadic runway obsessions! If it’s not athleisure, then it’s bathing suits if it’s not that – it’s makeup and hair! The beauty behind every runway shows that there’s always something for everyone, giving all the queens out there to find their own inspiration and guide them on their fashion journey. This time around, we went absolutely crazy over hairstyles that walked the runways. Long, short, quirky, edgy and simple – they were all sublime! Observing the trends, we’ve come up with a list of runway dos that we believe will emerge in the streets very soon. If you are looking to pick up a hair trend, this is your chance:

Textured bangs

The trend of too-cool-for-school bangs is getting an even cooler update with fabulous choppy texture! The vibe is a little punk rock with a twist of cute, and we love that we’ll finally be wearing crazy bangs again! For an extra dose of cool, you are advised to experiment with a color of the hair that’s different to the color of the bangs. Basically, this season, bangs are the only accessory you need.

Ditzy short, textured cuts

Very short, almost army-cut styled hair in colors like gray, red, black, chocolate brown and blonde dominated the runways and we fell in love with it. There is something extremely exciting about a woman who’s rocking a very strict do while she’s pairing it with a feminine clothing ensemble. If you’ve got the guts – cut your locks short and see what happens!

50 shades of red

Trend alert: Warm shades of red are having a big moment and it seems that everyone is warming up to them. Whether your hair is short or long, red seems to be the hair color of the moment.

Fashion has spoken: this year will be dominated by a variety of natural, artistic, and curious looks, all the way from wardrobe and accessories to skin care and hairdos. Whether it’s a cool pair of designer sneakers, a colorful flowy dress, or a pair of odd earrings, the approaching summer is going to be a collection of raw, refreshing and rebellious.

The Boho Bloom

As one of those styles that never go out of fashion, bohemian beauty is at its very peak this season. Some of the world’s renowned brands such as Desigual, Tigerlily, Simone Camille or Raquel Allegra boast a diverse selection of wardrobe items and accessories that are a perfect basis for any boho fan. Inspired by Eastern Europe Bohemia and with some French influence, the modern bohemian-chic style revolves around freedom, creativity, and untamed beauty. That is why this year is also all about wild waves, elaborate loose braids and ornamented braids with inserted rings and cuffs. Jewelry designers follow with beaded layered necklaces, bold statement pieces with natural stones and unrefined shapes, to complement your entire look.

Go Natural

Although tattoos will always have their place in individual expression, this season shows a remarkably large number of people opting for clearing their skin. In fact, ink regret has skyrocketed in the past year or two around the globe, and Australia is no exception.
The growing popularity of tattoo removal in Sydney is a clear example of this year’s greater tendency towards a more natural appearance and a desire to literally wipe the slate clean. Painful but safe, effective laser tattoo removal requires several visits to a clinic that has experienced professionals, to ensure that the experience is as healthy and harmless as possible. This trend is also obvious in less drastic, but increasingly popular makeup-free styles that encourage you to boost your pure, unembellished look through natural skincare.

Artsy Patterns

Delicate stripes, enchanting flowers, and playful prints offer a versatile selection of original outfits that will enhance your authentic personality and perfect this season’s wardrobe. Combined with vividly colorful fabrics that allow for a breezy summer feel, these patterns are ideal for a casual midday walk and for an elegant evening out, especially when combined with the right footwear and hairstyles. Inspired by free art expression, this trend lets you create your own spring and summer palette of hues, shapes, and textures, with very little to no boundaries. The sky’s the limit as far as your imagination is concerned so you can explore even the most unexpected combinations of shades and patterns that will complement your persona.

Snazzy Streetwear

Talking about unexpected combinations – fashion has brought us some of the most daring ideas for this season through mixing a glamorous glow with basic street simplicity. Try matching your basic hoodie with futuristic-looking jewelry, a fancy fedora hat or your go-to high-heeled shoes. It takes some getting used to, but you will quickly learn to appreciate this refreshing trend. Sneakers come in many shapes and forms and they can be your favorite comfortable and statement footwear this year when you find a pair with a fun print, a glossy finish or raised heels. Actually, you will probably end up with more than one pair, as the supply of imaginative sneaker designs will be many on every corner.

Asymmetry and Geometry

Shoulder cut-outs, a single earring, sharp tinted sunglasses, uneven hairdos, shapely curls, they all have a special place in this year’s fashion preferences. Shorter flowy dresses with a single strap, combined with loose hair and ballet flats are a simple solution for your everyday casual coffee, while longer ones can be matched with the perfect stilettos and make for an evening outfit, just some eyeshadow away from fabulous. Jewelry and accessories this season will also flaunt a bold tendency towards prominent, eye-catching design and you will be able to pick from an endless selection of statement pieces that will go equally well with that evening gown and those torn jeans and a wild braid.

There are so many different skincare products nowadays, that it can be quite difficult to find the ones that suit your skin. For this reason, it’s very important to know your skin and to establish an effective skincare routine according to its type. Here is a list of some useful and helpful tips.

Determine your skin type

Before deciding to buy any skincare product, you have to determine the type of your skin. This is extremely important for products that don’t suit your skin will not only be ineffective, but they can even worsen the situation.
However, there is no reason to be worried, since you can find so many tips online on how to determine your skin type, and all you need to do is follow a couple of short steps. Before you start testing it, you should know that there are several types of skin, including oily (characterized by large pores and grease on your face), dry (characterized by small pores and flakes), normal, sensitive and the combination of these types. And, now that you know all the facts, let the testing begin!

Cleanse your skin

Cleansing your skin can be very tedious after a long day when you only want to go to bed, however, this step shouldn’t be avoided under any circumstances. Once a day, in the evening, is usually enough, unless your skin is oily, then you can clean it in the morning as well.
It’s very important that you find a suitable cleanser. For example, if your skin is dry, oil-based ones will do the trick, but if it’s oily, stay away from them, and stick to foam-based ones. We advise you to wash your face with warm water so that your pores open up, which will allow you to clean all the dirt that accumulated on your skin during the day. Once you do this, apply the cleanser. However, after cleansing it, you should rinse your skin with cold water to close up the pores.

Find a suitable moisturizer

Moisturize, moisturize and moisturize. This is a rule of thumb for every skincare routine, especially, during the cold winter months when our skin becomes dried out easily. You should use a moisturizer once or twice a day, or even more if you have very dry skin. This step comes after cleansing in order to restore the moisture, prevent flaking and wrinkles from occurring.
If your skin is oily, it doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t moisturize it, but it simply means that you have to stick to oil-free products. However, even though we encourage you to apply a moisturizer regularly, don’t overdo it, since too much of it can lead to clogged pores and, consequently, acne breakouts.

Pamper your skin with a facial mask

Enriching your daily skincare routine with a facial mask can be extremely beneficial for your skin. You can find an amazing face mask online which will nourish and revitalize your skin, making it radiant again. You can go for a clay mask if your skin is normal or oily since it absorbs excess oil and unclogs your pores. Another great mask which will help your pores open up is a thermal mask. However, if your skin is dry to normal, you should definitely go for cream masks which contain ingredients that will soften your skin and further moisturize it.

DIY masks

If you’re into face masks, don’t hesitate to experiment and make the one which will perfectly suit your skin. For example, a banana face mask is great for oily skin, since it will moisturize it, without making it even oilier. All you need to do is mix a ripe banana, 1 spoon of honey and a few drops of lemon juice. On the other hand, an avocado mask is exactly what you need if you have dry skin. Mix half of avocado with honey, apply it to your skin, leave it for 10 minutes and then rinse it off with cool water. As you can see, it doesn’t take a lot of effort, and yet your skin will be well-moisturized thanks to the natural avocado oil.
All in all, establishing an effective skincare routine is not that difficult. You should just get to know your skin type and buy only the products suitable for it.

winter skin care

During the winter, to keep the skin hydrated and with a healthy aspect is a little bit difficult. Although there are lots of creams and lotions which help to leave the skin in hydrated and well cared, some of these treatments are still extremely expensive.
Every woman has her tricks to keep herself pretty. Knowing the right stores to buy nice and cheap clothes, use that special brand of makeup and attend certain beauty salon are some of these tricks, but you can get even more beautiful with some silly, cheap little secrets that can be used at home.
Today I'm writing this post with some natural alternatives that can be made at home and at a low cost.

Coconut oil
The coconut oil can do wonders for the skin and one of its main characteristics is hydration.
There are several ways to use it, directly on the skin, in the most problematic areas or by adding a few drops in the bath. The oil will leave the skin very soft and with a fantastic smell. For more tips about coconut oil in the beauty read HOW TO USE COCONUT OIL IN YOUR BEAUTY ROUTINE!
coconut oil

Olive oil
Olive oil is a miracle substance that, not only does wonders to dry skin, as is one of the basic ingredients of most moisturizing creams on the market. When used alone, it eliminates the danger of chemicals on the skin and other ingredients in lotions that can decrease its effectiveness.
Olive oil is composed of a lot of antioxidants that help to repair the skin dry, irritated or even reddish skin, as well as to prevent and repair the damage caused by the Sun. Soak a piece of cotton with oil and apply on the skin (mainly in the drier areas), let it act for few minutes and then wash the face.

Aloe
If you have an Aloe plant at home, will be one of the best investments. This plant not only has a long durability, and also has an easy maintenance. When you need Aloe, just cut part of the plant and squeeze the gel.
This will have a colorless, gelatinous appearance and is on the inside of the leaf. You can cut the plant at will because it will grow again, which demonstrates its miraculous properties. Aloe not only moisturizes but also repairs the irritated skin.

Olive oil, lemon, and salt
If you're not a fan of putting olive oil directly on the skin, this is a great alternative. Mix the juice of a lemon, with five tablespoons of salt and a tablespoon of olive oil to create a luxurious scrub.
The smell of fresh lime has invigorating properties and with the olive oil, this scrub will leave skin fresh, moisturized and extremely smooth.

Honey
It not only deeply moisturizes the dry skin but also improves the skin appearance. Put directly in the drier areas, gently massage the skin, leave it on for 2-3 minutes and then wash the face.
Repeat this every day and you will see the skin improvement.

Scrub for smoother skin: To remove impurities accumulated on the skin and also the dead cells, nothing better than a good exfoliation. When you don't have the right cream, however, you don't have to spend a fortune on an expensive treatment. Just mix some honey and sugar, creating a cheap and simple exfoliating mask. The recipe must be applied on the face, and make a circular motion.

Chamomile to decompress the face
When we sleep or spend several days working or studying too much, it is normal that our skin looking bad at the end of the day. To relieve redness and reduce the swelling of the face, try chamomile tea. Just prepare the tea and put it in the fridge for a night. The next morning, soak a cotton ball in the tea and apply on the face, especially in the swollen areas, such as dark circles, for example.

Water for a beautiful skin
A spray of mineral water or coconut water can be used on the face to help keep your skin looking good. Another good tip is to dip the face in ice water to help hide dark circles, inflammation, and swelling.

Papaya, yogurt, and honey to hydrate
It is possible to hydrate the skin without the need of industrialized creams. A good recipe is to mash a piece of papaya and blend it with two tablespoons of yogurt and a little honey. The mask should be applied to the face and let it act for few minutes. Then just wash your face with water.
